This property had once been built on the grounds of the apple orchard of the village Manor House.
We have aimed to draw on some of that history.
We changed the garden path so that it was no longer on the boundary wall giving both neighbours a little more privacy.
We also introduced a pleach hedge of Malus Everest to create a soft boundary by the terrace.
We have sourced the stone locally. The path is made of 50mm thick Cornish granite from De Lank quarry.
We’ve put in a drinking trough with tap which will catch water and provide some movement and reflection..
Low beach hedging will screen the drive and create some other areas of privacy along with a beautiful multistep hornbeam tree supplied by New Wood trees.
