Alex Hobbs completed his degree in Fine Arts at Northumbria University in 1999. Following this he took up a post working for Hayles and Howe Ltd, an ornamental plastering company in Bristol, which has received international acclaim working on many of the most prestigious building projects in the UK and abroad.

Following his passion for the outdoors Alex moved to Cornwall in 2012 and completed an HND in Garden and Landscape Design at Duchy College Rosewarne. Alex thrived on the course culminating with his selection as a finalist in the Student Garden Designer of the Year category for the Society of Garden Designers awards which was won that year by Tom Massey.

Since 2015 Alex has worked throughout Cornwall building original and exciting gardens with a commitment to creativity and exacting detail.
