The Gannel, Newquay

This is another very steep garden split into three levels. To complicate things further there is no access for machinery, so all work and deliveries/removals had to be completed by hand.

The client wanted to maximise the space for entertaining on the top terrace. The deck is designed on an angle so that as you move on to it you are walking towards the view. This then also creates a space for the steps down to the fire pit area and visually the angles provide interest from above.

The steel frame was engineered and supplied by Insteel, Siberian Larch decking, core-ten edging and slate chippings.
